What is The Laughing Man Club?
The Laughing Man Club is a group of men who generate a genuine atmosphere of caring and support for each other. We talk about deadly serious things as well as tell our stories that are sometimes ridiculously funny.
We have seen deep friendships develop over the years and humor seems to be the easiest way to do this. Even when we disagree we always seem to end up laughing at ourselves and each other. Something wonderfully happens when men tease each other and laugh together.
Why do this?
Men are in trouble these days. Surprisingly few men have anyone they would call a ‘friend’.
We have often heard, and some now believe, that we are toxic, useless and have no purpose.
American men are killing themselves at an alarming rate, especially our younger men.
We aim to change that in our small way. That’s the serious reason for our calls.
The other reason is … these calls are just a hell of a lot of fun.
Who is this for?
We are here for young men and old men. Race doesn’t matter, religion doesn’t matter, and even politics doesn’t matter.
However, we don’t talk politics on these calls because it’s so incredibly divisive these days.
What do you guys talk about?
We’ll step into pretty much anything a guy can think of. Scary stuff, funny stuff, odd stuff, cultural stuff, advice, ideas, and much more. We also do a lot of laughing along with the serious stuff.
